Stand Up For Your Light
Saturday November 5th, 9A.M. to 12 P.M. (noon)
In this practice you’ll root down, activating the feet and legs, to feel your presence strongly on the earth. As a group, we’ll dive into the yogic teaching that every being is inherently good and contains the seed of enlightenment - yes, you! And then you’ll have the chance to imprint that truth in your body and mind as we flow through a series of standing postures, keeping your attention in the present moment, bringing life-force energy into every cell.
Uddiyana Vida - An Upward Flying Life
Saturday November 5th, 2 to 5 P.M.
Learn to activate your Uddiyana Bandha - the upward flying lock - which is key for arm balances, inversions, and fluid transitions. This will be an invigorating and playful practice with variations to empower and challenge yogis of all levels. We will also look at what it means to continually evolve on a personal level; living life with more strength, compassion, vitality, and joy! Let’s fly!!
Hips Sweet Hips
Sunday November 6th, 10A.M. to 1 P.M.
Get deep into the layers of the hips to release stored tension and old patterns that you didn’t even realize were bogging you down. This will be a slow, yet powerful practice, ending with yoga nidra (a long guided visualization / deep relaxation) to leave you feeling completely refreshed. Unwind your body from the weekend and leave feeling like new.
